Friends Book Tree and Clothing Drive

Friends of the Library- LaValle and the LaValle Library Board are teaming up for a fundraiser! 

 

Similar to the traditional mitten trees you see in stores around the holidays, we will have a “book tree” set up in the library with the titles of different books we would like to add to our shelves! Simply stop in to the library, select a tag with the book(s) you would like to purchase, and drop the book(s) off at the library after you have made your purchase! Or if you would rather shop online, feel free to purchase from our Amazon wishlist! 

 

This is a great way to support our library and get new books on our shelves! While the “book tree” is happening, we will also be collecting winter clothing items to provide to local youth in need. All sizes are welcome (baby to high school age). Let’s help those in need stay warm this winter!
